Facilities America and Facility Announce Decision To Co-Locate!
The Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE) and Trade Press Media recently announced that they have signed an agreement to co-locate the Facilities America show at the Facility Decisions Conference & Expo in 2010. The co-located shows will be held October 5-6, 2010 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Both shows will be free to qualified facility and maintenance personnel.
"AFE is committed to its mission of promoting the facilities engineering profession through education and high quality, useful resources and technical information," said Laurence Gration, CEO of AFE. "Facilities America provides an important opportunity for facilities professionals to hone their knowledge and training and learn from each other through networking and information sharing. By co-locating the show in Las Vegas in conjunction with another major show like Facilities Decisions, we hope to highlight AFE's programs and make our programs available to as many people as possible throughout the year."
"The co-location of Facilities America with the Facility Decisions show enables us to offer an even wider selection of educational programs to the thousands of facility professionals who come to Las Vegas for the event," said Bob Wisniewski, president of Trade Press Media Group. "With over 70 educational sessions available, in the end, facilities personnel will be better able to address their specific educational needs."
Facilities America educational programs will include up to 20 sessions on sustainable maintenance practices; managing the maintenance function in a challenging economy; and managing the facilities team. An awards event is also planned.
